Intex Aqua Wing & Aqua Raze with 4G-LTE Support Launched, Price Starts from Rs. 4599

The domestic smartphone maker, Intex has today launched two new ultra low-cost 4G-LTE enabled smartphones in its Aqua series called as Intex Aqua Wing and Intex Aqua Raze. Both the smartphones come with Black and White color options and are available for sale via all leading retail stores across the country. The Aqua Wing is the basic among both the devices and is priced at Rs. 4,599 while the Aqua Raze is priced little high at Rs. 5,199.

Commenting on the launch, Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Mobile Business Head, Intex Technologies said, “Intex has always provided the latest technology at affordable prices. We were one of the first to enter the 4G segment and today with the launch of these affordable 4G series, we will get closer to our consumer. The two new devices have been designed and packed with features that will enable the users to access the world from their phone.”

The Aqua Wing features a 4-inch (800×480 pixels) WVGA TN display with 233ppi as pixel density. Under the hood, it comes equipped with the 64-bit MediaTek MT6735M quad-core processor clocked at 1.0GHz clubbed with Mali-T720 GPU and 1GB of RAM. The smartphone supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box. It comes with 8GB of onboard storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion upto 32GB.

On the camera section, the smartphone sports a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera for video calling and selfie images. It comes with standard connectivity options like 4G-LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB 2.0 port. The device includes lots of pre-installed applications and comes backed by a 1500mAh battery. The dimensions of the handset measure 125 x 63.5 x 9.9 mm and weighs around 114.6 grams.

The Aqua Raze flaunts a 4.5-inch (854×480 pixels) FWVGA display with pixel density of 218ppi and comes powered by same MediaTek MT6735M 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.0GHz paired with Mali-T720 GPU. The smartphone features hybrid sim slot that lets you use microSD card instead of the second sim. It supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. It has 1GB of RAM, 8GB of built-in storage and can be further expanded to 32GB via microSD card slot.

On the photography front, the device features a 5MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front snapper for video calling and selfie lovers. Interestingly, the front camera is also accompanied with LED flash to capture decent images in any lighting conditions. The handset packs an 1800mAh battery and includes connectivity options like 4G-LTE/3G HSPA+, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB 2.0 port. The device also comes preloaded with ZaZa Remote that acts as any universal remote and allows the users to control home appliances remotely. Its dimensions measure 136.5 x 66 x 9.35 mm and weighs around 118 grams.
