The Indian smartphone manufacturer Intex has launched a new smartphone in its Cloud series called as Cloud Swift priced at Rs. 8,888. With the launch of Cloud Swift, the company becomes the first Indian smartphone maker to offer such specifications in the sub-10k segment. The smartphone will be available exclusively via Snapdeal, the registrations for the smartphone begins today and will go on sale from October 20th.

The Cloud Swift features a 5-inch (720 x 1280pixels) HD IPS display with Dragontrail glass protection on top of it and comes powered by 64-bit MediaTek MT6735A quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. The device has whooping 3GB RAM, 16GB internal storage with microSD card support for expansion upto 128GB.
The 4G capable smartphone sports an 8MP rear autofocus camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for video calling and selfie clicks. The camera comes with innovative features like the PIP Mode, which helps the user simultaneously use both front and rear cameras. Other features include Victory Gesture, live photo mode, motion track mode, slow motion video, face detection, face beauty, voice and smile capture, Panorama, multi-angle view, anti-shake camera (rear camera).
The smartphone also features Smart Wake for faster access to apps, HotKnot for faster sharing and Air Shuffle. Air Shuffle is another feature that allows users to operate the phone with simple hand gestures without touching the screen. Cloud Swift also comes with lots of pre-loaded apps and games and also has Matrabhasha service that will enable communication in 21 regional languages including Hindi.
The device has dual sim dual standby support and includes basic connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS and microUSB port. The handset comes backed by a 2500mAh battery that offers upto 7-8 hours of talk-time and upto 400-500 hours of standby time. The handset runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box, and its dimensions are 144.5 x 72.5 x 8.9 mm and weighs around 140 grams. The Cloud Swift also comes with 1-year screen breakage warranty and is available in colors- Champagne and Grey.
