Intex has already started selling the various Cloud Y series Android smartphones, although there is no official announcement done. The Cloud Y3 is one of them in the list, with the budget pricing and the entry level specifications, and the phone is already available on the eBay India website.
The Intex Cloud Y3 has a 4-inch capacitive touchscreen and that comes with the WVGA display having a screen resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The internal powering provided in the Y3 is by the Mediatek MT6572 processor which is a dual-core chipset clocking at 1.2 GHz, and there is a support by 512MB of RAM.
Having a Dual SIM support with the two GSM SIM networks, the Intex Cloud Y3 runs the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS and it supports the 2G EDGE connectivity, with the other connectivity options being Bluetooth (with A2DP support), Wi-Fi, MicroUSB. It is not the stock interface that the smartphone is using, becase you get to see customized icons in the interface of the Intex Cloud Y3.
The internal storage provided in the Y3 is 4GB, of which 2.8GB is for the system files, and the user gets 1.12GB of free storage for installing apps. There is an option to use the external storage with the MicroSD card, to a maximum of 32GB. The battery provided in the smartphone has a capacity of 1500 mAh. There are two cameras – a 3.2-megapixel rear one with the LED flash, and a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera.
It comes with a list of pre-loaded applications such as Matrabhasha, Intex Play, Intex Cloud, NQ Vault, Intex Games Club, Intex Zone and Intex Life Box apps.
Available in white color option, the Intex Cloud Y3 is priced at Rs. 4,790 on eBay and it is already available but only on that store, and there is no official word about the availability on the other stores.
