Karbonn A8 is the latest launched Android smartphone from Karbonn, which comes with the 4-inch capacitive touchscreen, and some basic features, for a very budget pricing of Rs. 6189 in the Indian market. The device comes with a WVGA display on the 4-inch screen, with a screen resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, and it has internally got a dual-core processor clocking at 1 GHz.
Running the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, the Karbonn A8 is a Dual-SIM device just like most of the devices from the Indian manufacturers. The device has got two cameras, the rear one being a 5-megapixel one with the LED flash and the front side has a VGA 0.3-megapixel camera, good enough for the video calling.
The A8 has got the 3G connectivity along with the various connectivity options, and the design of the device is just like most of the other Karbonn devices. The multitasking is supported by 512 MB of RAM, and the internal storage provided by the company is 4 GB, which can be expanded externally using a MicroSD card, to a maximum of 32 GB.
For the price of Rs. 6189, the device is pretty neat as it comes with a 1500 mAh battery, which was the same in the Micromax Canvas Fun A74 which was priced at just below Rs. 8000 but had similar specs, but a larger screen size and nothing else different.
The device would be available in both White and Black colors and it’s already available on the Indian online stores.
