Karbonn had launched the Titanium X smartphone earlier and that was a Full HD display Android smartphone but the company doesn’t want to limit that display to one device, as they come up with another full HD phone, the Karbonn Titanium S7. There was no official announcement done about it, but it is already seen on the online retailer Flipkart available for pre-order and expected to be available during the last week of November 2013. It is going to be a 5-inch Full HD display.
The price at which the Titanium S7 is available for pre-order is Rs. 14999 and that looks pretty good for the specs that the phone packs in. There is a quad-core Mediatek processor at 1.5 GHz and it runs the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. Specifications wise, there is no much difference between the S7 and the Titanium X that was recently announced by the same company, but the actual design differs a little. The phone features a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front facing camera, and the rear camera is assisted by a LED flash and the camera supports 1080p Full HD video recording.
The Titanium S7 is made as a perfect competitor to the Micromax Canvas Turbo and the Elife E6 from Gionee. This would make it more interesting as the pricing is very competitive. The front camera in the Titanium X is a 5-megapixel one when compared to the 2-megapixel one in the S7, and there is no specification provided about the battery and about the NFC support as well.
Just like the other Karbonn smartphones, the Titanium S7 comes with the Dual SIM feature supporting 3G + 2G GSM networks. We will update you when the phone is officially launched, and whether it is any good when compared to the Titanium X and the competitors from the other brands.
