Lava Iris Atom 2X with 1GB RAM & Android 5.1 Lollipop Launched at Rs. 4,499

Lava, one of the major smartphone company of India has launched a new entry-level device called as Lava Iris Atom 2X in its kitty of budget smartphones. The new smartphone is priced at Rs. 4,499 and is available for sale via offline and online stores across the country.

Talking about specifications, the Iris 2X comes with 4.5-inch (854 x 480pixels) IPS display offering a pixel density of 218ppi. Under the hood, it comes equipped with Mediatek MT6735 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with Mali 400 GPU and 1GB RAM. The device has 8GB of internal storage out of which 4GB will be available for the customer use anyway it has a microSD card slot for further expansion upto 32GB.

On the camera front, the device sports a 5MP rear camera with autofocus LED flash and a 0.3MP secondary camera. The smartphone supports dual sim dual standby and comes with standard connectivity options like 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB port. It comes backed by a 1750mAh battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. The dimensions of the handset measure 134 x 66 x 9.15 mm weighs around 146 grams and comes in Black and White color options.

A quick recall, Infocus has recently launched a new entry-level device in India called as Infocus M260 priced at Rs. 3,999 and is available for purchase exclusively via Snapdeal. The Infocus M260 features a 4.5-inch FWVGA display, MediaTek MT6582 quad-core SoC, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, 5MP main camera, 2MP front snapper, 2000mAh battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
