Lava Iris Fuel 60 with 4000mAh battery, Android Kitkat Launched for Rs.8,888 – Specs & Details

Today the Indian phone manufacturer Lava has announced a new smartphone Iris Fuel 60 in its new Iris Fuel Series. According to the lava, smartphones under this series are specially designed to last for long working hours without the need of frequent charging. The smartphones to be introduced under this series will come with long battery backup. Iris Fuel 60 features a 4000 mAh Li-Polymer embedded battery.This smartphone is successor to the Lava Iris 50.

The Iris Fuel 60 has a 5-inch HD display with full lamination and 1280*720 pixels resolution and has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. The device is powered by 1.3 GHz Quad core processor with 1GB RAM. It comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). The smartphone runs on the latest Android KitKat 4.4 & is FOTA upgradable. The device supports dual SIM and one of the SIM also supports 3G connectivity. Lava Iris Fuel 60 has double tap wake up feature.

On its camera front Iris Fuel 60 has an 10 MP AF primary rear camera with BSI-II sensor for taking great pictures and 2 MP FF secondary front camera for selfies lovers. The Iris Fuel 50 offers 4000mAh battery that will run for 2 days in moderate use and will take 3hours to charge.

Along with a huge battery, Lava had equipped this smartphone with a variety of gesture driven features makes the phone user-friendly. You can double tap the screen to wake up from sleep mode or draw certain letters on the display in sleep mode and link these with one of the various tasks within the device. For example, you may just draw “C” to open up camera application, draw “M” for music application so on and so forth. These all are customizable, and you can set these up based on your choice.

The device is powered by 1.3 GHz Quad core processor with 1GB RAM. It comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). The smartphone runs on the latest Android KitKat 4.4 & is FOTA upgradable. The device supports dual SIM and one of the SIM also supports 3G connectivity.

The Lava Iris Fuel 60 has been priced at Rs.8,888 and will be available in Black colour variant. The device will be available from 25th December 2014.The device will be competing with the mid-range devices in its range. Lava Iris Fuel 60 comes with introductory offers 500MB 3G data for two months only on Airtel subscribers.
