Lava Mobiles has launched of two new iris-X1 family smartphones in India, today. The new Iris X1 Grand and iris X1 Mini run on Android 4.4 KitKat.
The Iris X1 Grand features a 5-inch FWVGA display. It is powered by 1.3GHz MediaTek quad-core processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. On camera front, it comes with 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 2MP front-facing camera. It has 2200 mAh battery.
Lava Iris X1 Mini packs a 4-inch WVGA IPS display. It is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 512 MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. On camera front, it comes with 5MP rear camera with LED flash and VGA front-facing camera. It has 1750 mAh battery.
Last week, Lava had launched the Iris 350 budget smartphone in India. The phone has now been listed on the company’s site.Lava Iris 350 comes with a 3.5-inch (320×480 pixels) HVGA TFT display. It is powered by a 1GHz single-core processor coupled with 256MB of RAM. The smartphone bears 512MB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). The dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) Lava Iris 350 runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box.
Lava Iris X1 Grand and Iris X1 mini have been priced at Rs 7,326 and Rs 4,348 respectively. Both the handsets will go on sale beginning the first week of February. The smartphones will be available in both brick-and-mortars as well as online stores.
