The domestic smartphone manufacturer, Lava has today launched a new tablet in its Ivory series called as Lava Ivory M4. The tablet features decent specifications and is priced at Rs. 9,299. The device comes in Silver and dark Grey color variants and is available for purchase via both online and offline platforms across the country.
Commenting on the launch, Raman Sharma, V-P & Business Head Tablets, Lava International said, We see a tremendous potential in the tablet category and Lava has aggressive plans to expand its portfolio in this space. We will launch multiple devices in the next 3 months to meet the demand and our latest offering Ivory M4 will redefine the benchmarks in terms of features available in less than 10k price segment. It offers a great design with power packed features to meet all the computing needs of students & young working professionals alike.
Coming to its specifications, the Lava Ivory M4 flaunts an 8-inch (1280×800 pixels) IPS 16:10 display with 188ppi as pixel density. Under the hood, the tablet comes powered by MediaTek MT8321 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with Mali-400 MP2 GPU. The device supports single sim and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. On the camera cordon, the device sports 8Mp rear camera with LED flash and a 3.2MP front-facing camera for video calling and selfie lovers.
The tablet comes with 2GB DDR3 RAM, 16GB of built-in storage and can be further expanded to 32GB using a microSD card slot. The tablet includes all the basic connectivity options like 2G/3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth and microUSB 2.0 port. The device comes backed by a 4000mAh battery that the company claims can easily last for an entire day on single charge. The dimensions of the tablet measure 211.2 x 122.7 x 7.9 mm and it also features dual stereo speakers placed on the back of the unit.
