The small Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Leagoo has announced yet another impressive budget-friendly smartphone called as Leagoo Alfa 2 in China. The smartphone is the successor of the Leagoo Alfa 1 that launched in December 2015, and comes with few upgraded specifications. The main USP of the device is it sports Unique Back Touch panel with which you can capture a snap, open a specified app, wake up the screen without your fingers touching the display.
Regarding specifications, the Leagoo Alfa 2 comes with a 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS display with 294ppi as pixel density and 2.5D arc glass protection on the top of it. Under the hood, it comes powered by unspecified quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage and microSD card slot for expansion upto 32GB. It supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Leagoo OS 1.1 out of the box.
On the camera cordon, the device sports a 13MP autofocus rear camera with BSI sensor and LED flash, On the front, it has a 5MP shooter for video chats and crazy selfie lovers. It comes with basic connectivity options like 2G/3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB 2.0 port. The device lacks 4G-LTE connectivity that is offered in most of the devices these days.
The handset packs a 2600mAh battery that the company claims has the energy to last for an entire day on mixed usage and also supports LGQC1.5 Flash Charging technology. The device sports premium looks measuring just 7.5mm thickness with a metal frame around the device and comes in Dark Blue, Marble White, Champagne Gold and Brilliant Pink color variants.
