The Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Lenovo has launched three new smartphones in India dubbed as the A1000, the A6000 Shot, and the K3 Note Music. All the three smartphones will be available for sale offline via retail outlets across India starting from last week of October.
Sudhin Mathur– Director, Smartphones, Lenovo India, said, “Diwali is when we see a substantial jump in sales and this is why we are launching the A1000 priced Rs 4,999, A6000 Shot at Rs 9,999 and K3 Note Music at Rs 12,999 exclusively for our offline channel partners.”

Lenovo A1000
The Lenovo A1000 targets the low budget smartphone market as it comes with entry-level specifications. The smartphone comes with specifications similar to the recently launched A2010 but excludes 4G-LTE connectivity. The device flaunts a 4-inch (400×800 pixels) WVGA display and comes powered by Spreadtrum SC7731 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Adreno Mali400 MP2 GPU. It has 1GB RAM, 8GB onboard storage and microSD card slot for expansion upto 32GB.
It sports a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and on the front it has a VGA shooter. The dual sim capable device comes with basic connectivity options like 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS and microUSB port. The handset comes backed by a 2050mAh battery that is rated to offer upto 9 hours of talk time on a single charge and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. The smartphone will be available in colors- Onyx Black, Pearl White and is priced at Rs. 4,999.
Lenovo A6000 Shot
The Lenovo A6000 Shot is almost similar to A6000 Plus that launched earlier, but the only difference is it comes with an enhanced camera. The new smartphone features a 5-inch (720×1280 pixels) HD display and comes powered by Snapdragon 410 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz and Adreno 306 GPU. It comes with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage with microSD card slot for expansion upto 32GB.
As the name suggests, the main USP of the A6000 Shot is its camera. It sports a 13MP rear autofocus camera with LED flash and a 5MP front shooter for video calling and selfie clicks (compared to the 8MP and 2MP shooters seen on the A6000 Plus). It has dual sim functionality and includes connectivity options like 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and microUSB port.
The smartphone boasts a 2300mAh battery and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop based Vibe UI out of the box. The handset is available in colors- Onyx Black, Pearl White, and Carmine Red and is priced at Rs. 9,999.
Lenovo K3 Note Music
The Lenovo K3 Note Music mostly resembles the recently launched K3 Note but as the name indicates it comes with enhanced speakers and sound technology. The company claims that the K3 Note Music Edition is the world’s first handset to employ AnyWoofer technology. The device also features Dolby Atmos Audio, ceramic speakers for the ultimate sound experience and also comes with a unique packing that doubles up as speakers.
The device flaunts a 5.5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) FHD display and under the hood it comes powered by MediaTek MT6752 64-bit octa-core chipset clocked at 1.7GHz coupled with Mali-T760 MP2 GPU. The smartphone comes with 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card upto 32GB. The dual sim capable smartphone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop based Vibe UI.
