Lenovo has strengthened up their A series of Android smartphones with four new devices being launched yesterday, and the best one in the lot being the Lenovo A850, with the 5.5 inch capacitive touchscreen and some appreciable specs, and this device is priced in the mid-range for users to have a large screen decent smartphone for a price not so high. The device coming with an IPS display, although doesn’t have a really appreciable resolution, but provides a wide viewing angle of 178-degree.
The screen resolution on the 5.5-inch display of the Lenovo A850 is 960 x 540 pixels, and the phone is internally powered by the quad-core processor clocking at 1.3 GHz speed, and to support the multitasking, the smartphone has 1GB of RAM. Running the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, the Lenovo A850 has got two cameras, the front one being a 5-megapixel auto focus shooter with the LED flash, while the front camera being a 0.3-megapixel VGA quality one.
The A850 supports the 3G HSDPA connectivity, apart from the plethora of options to connect to the web and other devices, including the 4th Gen Bluetooth technology. Lenovo has included a 2250 mAh capacity battery in the device, and the internal storage available in the device is 4GB, and the storage capacity can be increased to 32GB with the MicroSD card support. Just like the other smartphones launched in this series, the A850 has got the Dual-SIM support.
