Lenovo has been planning an Android powered laptop since quite some time, but now finally there are not some but most of the details leaked about the Lenovo Ideapad A10 AndroidBook, which was not leaked just through an online manual but there is a listing on Amazon Germany showing this device for sale already for the price of 249 Euros. The IdeaPad A10 does look totally different from a tablet device because of the attached keyboard but most of the specifications are just like one of the several Android tablets available in the market already.
The Lenovo IdeaPad A10 features a 10.1-inch display with the screen resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels with the multi-touch and there’s an internal powering provided by the Quad-core Rockchip RK3188 processor which clocks at 1.6 GHz speed, and there are two models of this which differ based on the size of RAM and the internal storage. There is a front VGA camera included just above the screen, and the IdeaPad A10 sports a MicroSD card for the storage expansion. These Androidbooks would be running the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS.
The keyboard below has got a touchpad for the easy navigation, and the actual key set includes the separate Caps lock indicator, along with the full set of keys like back, home, menu etc. There is even a USB 2.0 slot on the side of the keyboard. With most of the information already available around, the Lenovo IdeaPad A10 is expected to be announced in the coming weeks, and the pricing would differ based on the version (16 GB and 32 GB storage versions) which would have the 1GB or 2GB RAM included based on the storage. We are yet to know about the places where this would get launched, but it is already available in the German Amazon website, thus the European market would be the first to sell this Android-based laptop.
