The Chinese online store of Lenovo has listed the P770 Android phone for sale, and it actually has got a different design than what we had seen in the leaked pictures, a few weeks back. The still has the same 3500 mAh battery, and now we got to see the actual specifications of the phone with the official pricing in the Chinese market. There is the Android Jelly Bean in the phone, and the huge screen of 4.5-inch would keep the P770 quite active in the market.
Here’s what the P770 comes packed with:
- 3500mAh battery, third-generation Chi constant power saving
- Battery chip encryption, mobile power function
- 4.5-inch qHD screen
- Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system
- Third generation Chi tone technology, music voice smartphone operating
- 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1G memory capacity
The pricing that we are seeing on the website is ¥ 1699, which comes to around USD 275, i.e. INR 15000 but there is no confirmation whether the P770 will be available in any other nations other than in China, but Lenovo won’t mind that as of now because the pictures show a Dual-SIM connectivity with the status bar showing two networks active together, and that given along with the latest OS and the massive battery supply, the huge Chinese mobile market will welcome the phone with a good number of sales.

7th Nov 2012:
Lenovo has not been a real big brand when it comes to the Mobile phones and Smartphones category, but they surely are going to take a lead in one of the categories which is taken a note by every user before they purchase a smartphone – the Battery. The company is coming up with a new phone that would boast a 3500 mAh battery that surely would last longer than any other in the market. Even one of the biggest phablets, the Samsung Galaxy Note II has got a 3100 mAh battery, which everyone had to consider as the best in the league of high-end devices.
The Lenovo P770 is going to come with the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean operating system, and a good screen size at 4.5-inch with a screen resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. The phone would have a dual-core processor that clocks at 1.2GHz and the chipset would be equipped with MediaTek MT6577, and there would be a support by 1GB of RAM. The P770 has got an 8-megapixel camera on the rear side and a 1.3-megapixel camera on the front.
The connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0 version and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and the best part about the device is the battery, which is a Li-ion one with the capacity of 3500 mAh. It is going to be introduced into the Chinese market with the price tag of RMB 1300 (about 17000 yen), which is around USD 210 and if that is the actual price, then for the specs this price is a great deal.
There has been a confirmed leaked picture of the battery back panel where 3500 mAh is for sure but there have been rumors that the device could even have a 4160 mAh battery and if that happens, it would be a trendsetter for the coming devices from the various manufacturers. We still would be happy with the 3500 mAh battery, because with the dual-core processor and a 4.5-inch screen it would last for more than a day on the normal usage.
