Apart from the Vibe Z, S930 and the A859, Lenovo announced the Lenovo S650 and the pricing of this paticular mid-range smartphone from Lenovo is set at $219, with the phone to be available very soon in the different markets. Having a 4.7-inch capacitive touchscreen with the qHD display, the Lenovo S650 is powered by the same processor which was included in the A859 and the S930 – Mediatek 6582 chipset, quad-core one clocking at 1.3 GHz, and that is supported by the Mali 400 GPU and 1GB RAM.
Most of the other stuff is the same, except for the front camera which is a VGA one, instead of the 1.6MP in the other two smartphones. The special fabric-feel texture on the polycarbonate material on the back cover makes it comfortable for holding the smartphone and there are enhancements made with the gesture control and motion-based enhancements for a better usage with one hand.
