Today, Lenovo has launched a new entry-level tablet in its A series dubbed as Lenovo Tab 2 A7-20. The tablet is priced at Rs. 5,499 and will be available for purchase in the country soon. It is already available for purchase via Snapdeal at a disounted price of Rs. 4,999. Earlier, Lenovo India launched the Tab 2 A7-30 that comes in two variants priced at Rs. 8500 for the 2G variant and Rs. 11,800 for the 3G variant.
Talking about its specifications, the Tab 2 A7-20 features 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) display and comes powered by MediaTek’s quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with Mali 400 GPU. The device has 1GB RAM, 8GB onboard storage that is expandable via microSD card upto 32GB.
On the Camera front, it sports a 2MP rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3MP front-facing camera for video calling. The tablet is Wi-Fi only and does not feature calling support. It comes with basic connectivity options like Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB 2.0 with OTG functionality.
It comes backed by a 3450mAh battery and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box with planned upgrade to Android 5.0 Lollipop. The tablet measures 9.3mm thickness weigh around 269 grams and will be available in Black color variant.
Recently, the company has officially launched the Phab Plus phablet in India priced at Rs. 18,490. The Phab Plus comes with a 6.8-inch FHD display, Snapdragon 615 SoC, 2GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The device features a 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, comes backed by 3500mAh battery, runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and is available for purchase exclusively via Amazon India.
Today, the company has officially announced that it will launch two new battery-focused smartphones dubbed as Vibe P1 and Vibe P1m with massive 5000mAh and 4000mAh batteries in an event on October 21st in New Delhi, India.
