Along with the Lenovo Vibe K5 and Vibe K5 Plus, the brand has also launched three new tablets in its Tab 3 series called as Lenovo Tab 3 7, Tab 3 8 and Tab 3 10 Business at the MWC 2016 event in Barcelona. All the tablets feature impressive specifications at their respective price tag and runs on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. The Lenovo Tab 3 7 and Tab 3 8 are designed for the regular users while the Tab 3 10 is more for business use with Android For Work support.
Let’s talk about the tablets in detail:
Lenovo Tab 3 7
The Tab 3 7 comes with a 7-inch (1024×600 pixels) IPS display with 170ppi as pixel density and comes powered by 64-bit MediaTek quad-core processor clocked at 1.0GHz clubbed with Mali 400 GPU. The tablet comes with 1GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage and also includes a microSD card slot for expansion upto 32GB. It supports dual sim dual standby and comes with standard connectivity options like 4G-LTE (optional), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and microUSB 2.0 port with OTG support.The tablet has 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing camera for video calling and selfie lovers.
The Tab 3 7 is IP52 certified with P2i Nano Coating technology making it splash and dust proof. The family-friendly tablet comes with multi-user modes, dedicated kid’s mode and kids-friendly features like adaptive display technology that can filter out harmful blue light. The tablet comes backed by a 3450mAh battery that can last for an entire day of mixed usage. Its dimensions measure 191 x 100 x 8.8 mm weighs around 260 grams and will come in Slate Black, Polar White, Sakura Pink and Aqua Blue color options. The Lenovo Tab 3 7 is priced at $129 and will be available starting June 2016.
Lenovo Tab 3 8
The Tab 3 8 features an 8-inch (1280×800 pixels) HD IPS adaptive display that can filter out blue light and offers a pixel density of 189ppi. Under the hood, is the 64-bit MediaTek 1.0GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB/2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and microSD card slot for further expansion upto 32GB. Like the Tab 3 7, the Tab 3 8 also comes with multi-user modes, dedicated kid’s mode and also features dual front-facing speakers with Dolby Atmos technology for enhanced sound experience.
The device supports dual sim dual standby and offers connectivity options like 4G-LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB 2.0 port with OTG functionality. It also has a 5MP primary camera and 2MP front-facing shooter for video chats and selfies. The tablet powers a 4290mAh battery that the company claims can easily take you through the day on a single charge. The dimensions of the tablet measure 210 x 125 x 8.9 mm weighs 329 grams and will come in Slate Black and Polar White colors. The Lenovo Tab 3 8 is priced at $99 for Wi-Fi only model while the 4G-LTE variant costs $149.
Lenovo Tab 3 10 Business
The Tab 3 10 is the most premium among all the tablets and as the name indicates is engineered for business users. The tablet comes pre-loaded with Android for Work apps, Google Play for Work and Kiosk Mode that allows you to set up as an interactive kiosk. Apart from this, the device also supports industry solutions for classroom management, point-of-sale management and e-Health making it perfectly suited for business users. The tablet flaunts a 10.1-inch (1920×1200 pixels) full-HD IPS display with 224ppi as pixel density and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 laid on top for protection.
The device comes equipped with MediaTek 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 2GB/3GB of RAM, 32GB/64GB of built-in storage that can be further expanded to 64GB via an externalSD card slot. Like the Tab 3 7, the Tab 3 10 Business is also splash and dust proof as it is IP52 certified with P2i Nano Coating technology. Connectivity options on the tablet include 4G-LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and a microUSB 2.0 port with OTG support.
On the photographic section, the device sports an 8MP main camera with 1080p video recording support and a 5MP front snapper for video calling and perfect selfie clicks. The tablet packs a massive 7000mAh battery and also features dual front-facing speakers with Dolby Atmos technology for superior Audio quality. The dimensions of the device measure 247 x 171 x 8.9 mm weighs around 509 grams and will be available in Slate Black color variant. The Lenovo Tab 3 10 Business is priced at $199 for Wi-Fi model, $249 for 2GB RAM and 4G-LTE and $299 for 3GB of RAM and 4G-LTE variant.
