Update Sep 2: Today, Lenovo has officially launched a new camera-centric smartphone called Lenovo Vibe Shot in India priced at Rs. 25,499. The pre-orders for the latest smartphone will start from today evening at the Lenovo’s official website and will be available across the country through offline stores within two weeks from now on. It will be available in two colors – Crimson Red and Graphite Grey.
Earlier Sep 21: Lenovo has sent out the invites for the launch of Vibe Shot smartphone in India on September 22nd. The company has announced the device at the MWC held in Barcelona. We can expect the device to be priced below Rs.20,000 since the recently launched Motorola Moto X Play, and Asus Zenfone Selfie are priced at Rs.18,499 and Rs.17,999 respectively. Internationally the Lenovo Vibe Shot was priced at $349 (approx Rs.23,000).

Lenovo Vibe Shot features a 5.0-inch FHD (1920×1080) IPS display. It is powered by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octa-Core processor coupled with 3GB RAM.. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. You will get 32GB onboard storage and a microSD slot for up 128GB expandable storage. It has 2900mAh battery for all-day photography, texting and social networking. On connectivity front, you get LTE (4G) data speeds, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1.
Lenovo Shot comes with an 16 megapixel rear camera with an infrared autofocus feature and tricolor flash to automatically adjust luminosity based on ambient light conditions. The phone comes with Optical image stabilization that reduces camera shake, especially in low-light conditions.The camera has a full-frame 16:9 low-light sensor for shooting images in dark interiors
The smartphone will be available in red, white or grey colour option.
