The South Korean manufacturer LG has just announced its latest handset LG GX with a large display of 5.5 inch display and some emphasized new network along with software features. This Smartphone has a slightly redesigned case from that of LG Optimus G Pro. The LG GX supports LTE bands and VoLTE (Voice over LTE) on the LG U+ network, which has become more standard in the Korean market now. Apart from networks, LG GX has many software features like
Smart Day :This feature shows you more information on the lock screen itself.
Media Time : This feature lets you access the media quickly, directly from the lock screen and also gets launched automatically when the headphones are plugged in.
Moreover we get a new automatic car dock mode that includes voice controls and a new navigation interface while driving. It can also link up with your LG TV back home, to show calls, text messages and other information on the TV screen even without having the phone with you or while playing games, with the knock on feature.
The hardware features compromises with a full HD IPS (1080p) 5.5 inch display giving you a big screen to enjoy movies and games. It is powered by a 2.26 GHZ quad core Snapdragon 600 processor, has a 13 mega pixel rare camera. LG GX also comes with 32 GB on board storage memory and 2GB RAM and battery of 3140 mAH, which can be removed. These features are heavily matched with its LG Optimus G Pro.
This Smartphone has standard side mounted buttons and also physical home buttons with a capacitive navigation button on the sides. This handset looks to be an improved version of the LG Optimus G Pro. This is likely to run on Android Jelly Bean with LG’s latest UX interface. The handset weights about 167 grams and will be available in White and Black variants.
