Earlier, we exclusively reported about low-end LG K4 smartphone being spotted on the LG’s Russian Website. Recently, the company has also announced the global roll-out plans of the smartphones in K-series called as LG K10 and LG K4. Today, LG Italy has officially announced the K-series smartphones called as LG K10 and LG K4 and also revealed the pricing and availability details of the devices. The LG K10 is the first smartphone to arrive on the market and is priced at 229.90 Euros (approx $246). The LG K4 is priced at 129.90 Euros (approx $130) and will roll-out starting from mid-February.
Let’s talk about the smartphones in detail:
The LG K10 flaunts a 5.3-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS display with In-cell technology, 2.5D arc glass, and 277ppi as pixel density. The device comes powered by unspecified MediaTek quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion. The smartphone supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based LG’s UX UI out of the box. It comes with standard connectivity options like 4G-LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi and microUSB 2.0 port.
On the photographic section, the smartphone sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing snapper for video calling and selfie lovers. The handset comes backed by a 2300mAh battery that the company claims has the power to last for an entire day of mixed usage. The smartphone comes with unique glossy pebble design and also has unique features like Gesture Shot, Tap and Shot, Knock Code and many more.Its dimensions measure 146.6 x 74.8 x 8.8 mm and is available in White and Indigo Black color options.
The LG K4 features a 4.5-inch (854×480 pixels) FWVGA TFT display with InCell technology and offering a pixel density of 233ppi. Under the hood, it comes powered by MediaTek MT6735M 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.0GHz paired with Mali-T720 GPU. The smartphone supports dual sim dual standby and includes connectivity options like 4G-LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB 2.0 port. On the camera cordon, the device sports a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera for video chats and selfie images.
The smartphone also comes with innovative features like LG’s gesture shot and knock code for easy access. It comes with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of built-in storage and also further expandable to 32GB via microSD card slot. The handset packs a 1940mAh battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. The dimensions of the smartphone measure 131.9 x 66.7 x 8.9 mm weighs around 120 grams and will come in Indigo Blue and White color options.
