Recently, the South Korean giant LG launched the all-metal mid-range smartphone called as LG Zero in Europe, Asia and America. Now, according to famous leakster Evan Blass, LG is gearing upto launch a new affordable smartphone in the U.S called as LG K7. The device is codenamed as M1 and is also expected to be available via multiple U.S carriers.
Coming to its specifications, the K7 will flaunt a 5-inch (480×854 pixels) FWVGA display and comes powered by Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor clocked at 1.1GHz. The device comes with 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of built-in storage that can be further expanded using a microSD card slot.
On the camera section, the smartphone is expected to sport a 5MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for video chats and selfie lovers. Connectivity options on the device include 4G-LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB port.
The LG K7 with these specifications is expected to carry an affordable price tag and will cost around $200, to compete with other smartphone that comes with almost similar specs and are also priced aggressively. A quick recall, LG has recently launched a new mid-range smartphone called as LG Ray in Russia priced at 14,990 rubles (approx $226). The LG Ray features a 5.5-inch HD display, MediaTek MT6592M octa-core SoC, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 13MP rear camera, 8MP selfie shooter and 3000mAh battery. It supports 4G-LTE connectivity and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
