Improvements & Enhancements

- Android security patches have been added to provide security at its best
- Phone application has been improved to provide performance and reduces unknown and force close errors
- Phone can now receive the wireless alerting system messages
- Picture messages can be sent directly when connected with Wi Fi
- Contacts application now provides better user experience
Verizon has proceed with the OTA update to LG Revolution and this update is based on the VS910Zv9 firmware. We advise users to proceed with this firmware upgrade when you are connected to the Wi Fi network and you should fully charge your device so that you don’t run out of the battery in the middle of the firmware upgrade. The complete procedure of the firmware upgrade might take nearly about 20 – 30 minutes which purely depends on the strength and the downloading speed of your Wi Fi.
How to Update
If you have received a notification on your mobile phone about this update then pull down the notification message and follow the on screen instructions or else you need to follow the instructions below to manually update it –
- On your LG Revolution, tap on Menu and then select Settings.
- In Settings scroll down for About Phone.
- In the About phone select Software Update
- And then select Search to look out for the update.
- Updates will begin and your phone would be automatically restarted twice
