Earlier, we exclusively reported about LG has partnered with Reliance Retail to sell its VoLTE enabled smartphones called as LG Spirit 4G and LG G4 Stylus 4G in India. Recently, the company has officially launched its first VoLTE enabled device called as LG Spirit 4G in the domestic market. It is the same device that launched earlier this year in February but without 4G-LTE support. The VoLTE enabled Spirit 4G is priced at Rs. 11,900 and is available for sale via Reliance Retail stores across the country.
Talking about its specifications, the LG Spirit 4G flaunts a 4.7-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD In-Cell display offering a pixel density of 312ppi with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection laid over top of it for protection. The smartphone comes powered by 64-bit Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with Adreno 306 GPU. It supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop based LG UX UI out of the box.
It comes with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion upto 32GB. On the photographic section, the device sports an 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 1MP front-facing shooter with Retina Flash technology that brightens the display to capture perfect selfie images. Connectivity options on the device include 4G-LTE, VoLTE, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB port.
The design of the device is almost similar to earlier launched LG smartphones, as it also features physical home button and volume rockers placed on the back of the handset. Along with the VoLTE support that helps in faster connecting and switching of calls, it also comes with other interesting features like Glance View for notification when the screen is turned off and Gesture Shot for capturing images in the camera app. The handset comes backed by a 2100mAh battery that can easily last for an entire day on single charge considering the specifications of the device. The dimensions of the handset measure 133.3 x 66.1 x 9.9 mm weighs around 120 grams and comes in Black and Gold color variant.
