Well, LG is all set to come out with its first ever clamshell smartphone, dubbed as Wine Smart. We know that LG has released many Wine handsets before which were simple devices at affordable price. Reports from several Korean websites which include Korea Herald claim that the Wine Smart will be the first smartphone in the Wine series.
LG has launched many good devices till now and this year it was it its flagship model LG G3 that captured everyone’s heart. Later LG G3 Beat that was released last month with a smaller size and importantly it had the laser autofocus feature that we had seen in LG G3. LG is pretty much into the market cores, and even the last year we have seen LG G2 being a good device and making good enough sales. The fight for the top smartphone maker in the market is getting tougher day by dad and LG’s big competition will be against Samsung and Sony.
LG is also giving away this Wine Smart Device in South Korea and also revealed an image of the device, from which it is clearly visible that it has a hardware keypad and the clamshell. Nothing else was revealed about the device for now, and we are hopeful to see this device very soon. We have seen clamshell smartphone from the South Korean giant, Samsung, which was based on the Android Operating System. Named as the Galaxy Golden, this device featured a 3.7 inch touchscreen display and was released last year.
We are not yet sure that on which platform will this LG Wine Smart will run, and this device is expected to be unveiled soon, may by end of this month itself.
