Procedure to Manual Update Galaxy Chat B5330 with XXUBMD2 Firmware:
- Download XXUBMD2 Firmware Package for Galaxy Chat and Odin from here to your computer. Once downloaded, open Odin in your computer
- Open odin in your computer and Turn off your Galaxy Chat smartphone so that it can be entered in the Download Mode.
- Turn Off the device so that it can be entered in the Download Mode. Download mode in Galaxy CHAT B5330 can be entered by pressing Volume Down Key + OK button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button. Now, a Warning message will be shown when you need to press the Volume Up key to continue entering the Download Mode.
- Once the device is entered in the Download mode, connect your device to the computer with the help of original USB cable and then you will see that the ID : COM section will turn Yellow indicating that all the drivers are installed successfully.
- Now, click on “PDA” and select the tar file from the extracted firmware zip file to click on “Start” for starting the process of firmware update. As soon as the firmware is applied successfully, the device will be rebooted automatically indicating that the firmware has been applied successfully.
Note: If the device gets into the boot loop sequence or say gets stuck in the welcome screen, just re insert the battery and re follow the above instructions so as to again follow the above mentioned instructions.
