Procedure to Manual Update GALAXY FAME S6810P with XXAMC4 Firmware:
- Download XXAMC4 Firmware Package and Odin from here to your computer. Once downloaded, open Odin in your computer
- Open odin in your computer and Turn off your Galaxy Fame smartphone so that it can be entered in the Download Mode.
- Download Mode in GALAXY Fame can be entered by first turning Off the device and then hold Volume Down Rocker Key + Menu Button and then Power ON the device.
- Connect your phone to the computer with the help of original USB cable and then you will see that ID: COM section will turn Yellow / Green depending upon the Odin version.
- Click on “PDA” to select the .tar file which you got upon extraction of the firmware file and click on “Start” to start the process of firmware update.
- Once clicked on “Start”, it will take around 3 -4 minutes for applying the update. As soon as the firmware is successfully updated, the phone will be rebooted on its own. As soon as you see the Language preferences or the Home Screen, you need to disconnect the device from computer and enjoy using your phone. Sometimes, it may even take more than 4 -5 minutes for applying the update.
Note: If the device gets into the boot loop sequence or say gets stuck in the welcome screen, just re insert the battery and re follow the above instructions so as to again follow the above mentioned instructions.
