Procedure to Update Galaxy Note N7000 with XXLT4 Jellybean 4.1.2 Firmware:
- Download the XXLT4 Firmware Package and Odin from here to your computer and extract the same preferably to the desktop.
- Now, open Odin in your computer and turn off your Galaxy Note so that it can be entered in the Download Mode.
- Download Mode in Galaxy note N7000 can be entered by pressing the Volume Down Key + Menu Button and then press the Power button. Just in case if the device gets turned ON in the normal mode, then you will have to retry the process of entering the device in the Download Mode.
- Open Odin in your computer and then connect your device to the computer with the help of USB cable to the computer. Click on “PDA” tab to select the tar file from the extracted firmware file and once you are done with the file selection, click on “Start” to start the process of firmware update process.
- As soon as the firmware update process is completed, device will be rebooted and once you see the home screen, disconnect the device to check the firmware from the path “Settings > About Phone” where you will get to see the firmware version as XXLT4 Jellybean 4.1.2 firmware.
- Please note that it will take longer time than expected for rebooting the device as it’s the first time the device will be booting after the firmware update.
Note: If the device gets stuck in the Samsung logo or gets into the boot loop mode then you need to long press the power button and turn off the device. Repeat the process from the start by following the instructions.
