Procedure to Manual Update Galaxy S2 I9100P with Jellybean XXLSK 4.1.2 Firmware:
- Download Jellybean 4.1.2 XXLSK Firmware Package and ODIN from here. Extract both the zip files in your device and open Odin in your computer.
- Turn Off your Galaxy S2 GT I9100P so that it can be entered in the Download Mode. Download Mode in Galaxy S2 I9100P can be entered by pressing the Volume Down rocker key + Menu Button and holding these both, press the power button at the same time. If the device enters in the normal mode, you need to retry entering the device in the Download Mode.
- Now, connect your phone to the computer with the help of original USB cable and then you will see that after a minute or two, the ID: COM section will turn YELLOW indicating that all the drivers are installed successfully. Once all the drivers are, click on “PDA” to select the tar file which you have extracted in the initial step.
- Select the file and click on “Start” to start the process of firmware update. As soon as the firmware is updated successfully, your Galaxy S2 GT I9100P will be rebooted.
Note: If the device gets into the boot loop sequence or say gets stuck in the welcome screen, just re insert the battery and re follow the above instructions so as to again follow the above mentioned instructions.
- Once the firmware update is applied successfully, you can check the same from the path “Settings > About Phone > Firmware Version” where the current firmware will be mentioned as XWLSN Jellybean 4.1.2.
