Manual Update LG Nexus 4 with HALO Themed Paranoid Jellybean Firmware – Guide

Procedure to Update Nexus 4 with Jellybean 4.1 powered Paranoid Custom ROM Firmware:

  • Download ROM Manager app from Google PLAY Store and select the option of “Reboot into recovery mode” to enter the device in the recovery mode.
  • Once Nexus 4 boots in the recovery mode, you need to select “install zip from sd card” and then choose the firmware file which you placed in your device and then the Google Apps Package.
  • It will take around 3 -4 minutes for applying the update and once the update is applied, the device will land back to the Recovery mode screen. In recovery screen, you will have to select “reboot system now” for rebooting the device in the normal mode. Please be informed that ti might take 3 -4 minutes more to boot and show the home screen in your phone.

Note: If the device gets into the boot loop sequence or say gets stuck in the welcome screen, just long press the Power button to turn Off and re follow the above instructions so as to again follow the above mentioned instructions.
