Procedure to Update SONY Xperia Z Tablet with Jellybean 4.3 Android OS:
- Download the Jellybean 4.3 Android OS from Cyanogen mod team for Xperia Z Tablet from below mentioned links along with the Google Apps Package;
Download CM10.2 for Xperia Tablet Z (3G + WiFi).
Download CM10.2 for Xperia Tablet (WiFi only).
- Once downloaded, you need to connect the tablet with the computer using the original USB cable to place the two zip files in your device.
- Once done, disconnect the device from computer. Boot the Xperia tablet Z into recovery mode by pressing and holding Volume Down, Power buttons together to see the recovery mode.
- Now, in recovery mode, press the Volume buttons to navigate between the options and Power button for selecting the desired option.
- Next up in the recovery mode, select Install Zip from SD card then select Choose Zip from SD card to select the jellybean 4.3 Android OS and then the Google Apps Package to start the process of firmware update.
- Once the firmware is updated successfully in your Xperia Z tablet, select the option of “go back” and select “reboot system now” for rebooting the device in the normal mode. To check on whether the device is updated with the update or not, head over to the path “Menu>> Settings>> About Tablet>> Software info ”.
Note: If the device gets into the boot loop sequence or say gets stuck in the welcome screen, just long press the power button to reboot and re follow the above instructions so as to again follow the above mentioned instructions.
