How to Manually Update Galaxy Nexus i515 with Official IMM76K ICS 4.0.4 Firmware

Essential Pre Requisites:

  • Data present in you Galaxy Nexus should be backed up so that just in case if the data gets lost or corrupted, the same can be easily restored with the help of below mentioned steps. If you are on the stock firmware then you can also backup the data using the PC Suite tools.

SMS – Use “SMS Backup & Restore app”,
Contacts – Sync with the Gmail application,
Call Log – Call Log and Restore
