Update: Meizu have announced that they will be holding a “new product launch” on November 19th in Beijing. Meizu have already started sending out invites for the event. Although the Meizu MX4 Pro is not mentioned in the announcement, it does seem highly likely that a flagship phone will finally be unveiled.

The phone is expected to be launching in the month of November.
The new Meizu MX4 Pro photos give the glimpse of the device, and we expect to learn more over the next few weeks if the MX4 Pro’s November release date is true.

Recently, a live image of the alleged Meizu MX 4 Pro was leaked on Weibo. The alleged device is in a white colour and has a large rectangular home button. The image on Weibo was accompanied by caption claiming it to be the upcoming Meizu MX 4 Pro, but there’s no confirmation if the image is real or not.
According to the new leak last week, Meizu will include a fingerprint scanner inside its rectangle home button. The leak also confirms that handset will sport a 5.4-inch 2K (2560 x 1440) display instead of a 5.36 panel on the Meizu MX4.
Rumours suggest that Meizu may launch the handset on October 26th in China. Meizu MX4 Pro will reportedly cost around 2499 Yuan in China; international price wasn’t mentioned yet. At this price point and with loaded features, the phone would compete with its Chinese counterparts OnePlus One, Xiaomi Mi4, and Oppo N3 (which is yet to be launched).
