Micromax Bolt Q338 with 8MP Camera and Android 5.1 Lollipop Launched at Rs. 6,499

Micromax, the second largest smartphone vendor in India, has launched a streak of devices in the recent times. Recently, the company has launched a entry-level smartphone in its Bolt series named as Bolt Q339 and it is available for purchase exclusively via Flipkart at Rs. 3,499. Today, the company has officially launched a new budget 3G smartphone in it’s Bolt-series called as Micromax Bolt Q338. The device is priced at Rs. 6,499 and also comes with 200MB of free data for WhatsApp usage or talk time worth Rs. 40 per month for five months for Airtel customers.

Bolt Q338 flaunts a 5-inch (720×1280 pixels) IPS display and comes powered by MediaTek (MT6580) quad-core processor clocked at 1.3Ghz. The dual sim Bolt Q338 has 1GB RAM, 8GB built-in storage and microSD card support for expansion upto 32GB.

The device sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for video calling and selfie-clicks. Connectivity options on this device include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and microUSB port. It comes backed by a 2000mAh battery that delivers upto 7.5 hours of talk time and 360 hours of standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.

The device supports 10 Indian regional languages and comes pre-loaded with Firstouch launcher that gives live translations to regional languages just by swiping on the keyboard. It also comes loaded with many bloatware apps such as Chaatz, CleanMaster, Newshunt, SwiftKey, Snapdeal, Saavn, Quikr, Hike, Hotstar and also has a app store called ‘App Bazaar’ that comes in regional languages.
