After launching its string of Smart phone in India this month Micromax has stepped its foot in to Russia and has announced its entry in the Russian Smart phone market with the launch of two Android Smart phones in the country. It is also planning to release 14 more devices in Russia this year, making its maket wider by partnering with VVP group for the distribution of their device.
Micromax has launched two new Canvas Smart phones, the Micromax Canvas Beat A114R and the Canvas Social A94 in Russia and also said it is also targeting to be among the top four brands by the end of 2014 in Russia and also said its service infrastructure across Russia is ready and plans to have more than 60 operational service centers very soon.
Micromax is already second biggest vendor in the country after Samsung and also the world’s 11th largest mobile phone brand. Micromax Canvas Beat A114R comes with 1.2GHz quad-core Broadcom BCM23550 processor and Vidcore IV GPU as similar to Canvas Mad. It also packs a 1900 mAh battery inside. The Canvas Social is very similar to Canvas Mad A94, which was recently launched in India.
