The Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 is now official, with a price of Rs. 19990 which is the highest pricing till date for any Micromax device, but the device has got features which are the best in any Micromax device, with the 12 MP camera on the rear side, 5 MP on the front, a Quad-core processor and a HD display.
Considering that there are some pretty good devices available at the price around this, the Doodle 2 might not find the right customers but if the pricing was around Rs 15k, the competition would have been great and the Canvas Doodle 2 would have been a good choice then.

Micromax had recently launched their best Android smartphone, the Canvas 4 which came in with some good features, but they haven’t stopped pushing the other devices, as we have lately found the next version of the Micromax Canvas Doodle, the Doodle 2 A240 online. They teased about the device on their Facebook page, and the device is said to have a 5.7-inch HD display with the screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
The Canvas Doodle 2 is coming with the Quad-core processor clocking at 1.2 GHz, and the device would be coming with the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. One of the best features of the Doodle 2 is the 12-megapixel rear camera with the Dual LED flash, and the front shooter too is a 5-megapixel one. Just similar to the other Micromax devices, the Canvas Doodle 2 is coming with the Dual SIM functionality and there’s a Dual Stand-by.
Just like the first gen Canvas Doodle from Micromax, this one too is going to have a stylus to make things easier for usage, and there’s a battery of 2600 mAh included in it. There is no confirmation about the RAM but it’s expected to be around 1 GB, the same which the Canvas 4 had.
The smartphone is expected to come with the Micromax-only M! Doodle App and also the Blow to Unlock feature. The Canvas Doodle had come with the price of Rs. 12999 initially but later was available for Rs. 10,000 but the Doodle 2 isn’t expected anywhere around this pricing, and we expect it to go on sale with a pricing that is at par with the Canvas 4 pricing.
