Micromax launched the Canvas Juice 3 and Juice 3+ smartphones with 4000mAh battery back in September 2015 priced starting from Rs. 8,999. Now, a new smartphone under the Canvas Juice series called as Micromax Canvas Juice 4 with model number Q382 is listed on company’s official website without any pricing details. The smartphone features entry-level specifications and will be placed in the low-segment targeting the budget users.
Coming to the specifications part, the Canvas Juice 4 comes with a 5-inch (854×480 pixels) FWVGA display offering a pixel density of 196ppi. Under the hood, it comes powered by Spreadtrum SC7731 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with Mali 400 GPU for smooth performance of the device. IT supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box.
On the photographic section, the smartphone features a 5MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing shooter for video chats and selfie lovers. It comes with basic connectivity options like 2G/3G HSPA+, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB 2.0 port. Like other Micromax devices, the Canvas Juice 4 also comes with lots of pre-installed apps like Amazon, Amazon Kindle, Snapdeal, Scandid and also support 10 regional languages.
The handset comes backed by a 3000mAh battery that is expected to last upto 11 hours of talk time and upto 385 hours of standby time. The smartphone comes with 8GB of onboard storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion upto 32GB. The only downside is it lacks the 4G-LTE support that is offered by most of the devices launched these days.
