Micromax has launched yet another ultra-affordable smartphone in its Canvas Series the successor of Canvas Spark called Canvas Spark 2. The first Canvas Spark that released back in April came with a 4.7-inch qHD display, an 8MP autofocus camera and other entry-level specifications and was priced at Rs. 4,999. Micromax says, Canvas Spark 2 with a tagline “India ka 3G phone,” is one of the most affordable 5-inch 3G enabled smartphone running on latest Android 5.1 Lollipop available in Indian market.
“The Canvas Spark proved to be a tremendous success for Micromax, selling over half a million units in less than two months of its launch. The Canvas Spark 2 is the most affordable 5-inch, 3G, Android Lollipop device available in the Indian market, making it a great value proposition for the consumers. Canvas Spark 2 flaunts a 5-inch (480×854 pixels) FWVGA IPS display and comes powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 512MB RAM, 4GB onboard storage and microSD card slot for expansion upto 32GB. It sports a 5MP rear fixed-focus camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera for selfie clicks.
The connectivity options on the dual-sim capable Canvas Spark 2 includes 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS and microUSB port. The device comes backed by a 1800mAh battery that can deliver upto 324hours on standby mode.
As earlier said, the device runs on latest Android 5.1 Lollipop and also comes pre-loaded with many apps like Firstouch language solution, Scandid, Kindle, Hotstar, Clean Master, Swiftkey, Snapdeal.
The Micromax Canvas Spark 2 comes in Black color and is priced at Rs. 3,999. It will be exclusively available via Snapdeal starting from September 30th, 2015 at 12 noon through flash sales. Registrations for the sale starts at 10 am on 23rd September 2015.
