Moto E appeared online.The images show that a second speaker grille on the front is missing, and the proportions suggest that this may be a smaller device than the Moto E.The leaked images show that the successor to Moto E may come with a front camera, although there is no camera flash. Secondary noise-cancelling microphone on the rear cover have also been spotted.

If latest reports are to be believed, Motorola is expected to unveil 2nd Gen. Moto E smartphone soon. Leaked images of the next generation Moto E have already surfaced online, suggesting that the company may be planning to launch the device as early as March at the MCW 2015.

The rumored specifications of second generation Moto E include a 4.5” qHD display with 540 x 960 pixels resolution. It will feature a 5 MP rear camera without Flash; Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC coupled with 1 GB of RAM. The device is expected to launch with the latest Android Lollipop OS out of the box. Connectivity options included in the device are WiFi, Bluetooth, USB and 3G support.

The first generation Motorola Moto E came with 4.3-inch display with a qHD (540×960 pixels) resolution, and 256ppi pixel density. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor along with Adreno 302 GPU alongside 1GB of RAM.

After successfully launching second generation Moto X and Moto G, the Moto E will also see a second model soon. According to a new report from Greece, the second-gen Moto E will be made official “soon enough” and it will come with hardware improvements compared to its predecessor.

The new Moto E will sport a 4.5-inch 540×960 touch screen, a 5MP rear camera without a flash, and will have LTE connectivity. While a specific chipset wasn’t mentioned, rumours have the device will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor similar chipset to that of the original Moto G at 1.2 GHz.

The phone will also have 1GB of RAM, and feature Android 5.0 out of the box. According to those that have held the device, the phone grips well and will look quite similar to the original.

Motorola had started rolling out Android Lollipop rollout for their new Moto X and Moto G. Currently the update is rolling out in phases to the following three versions of those devices:Moto X (2nd Gen.) Pure Edition, Moto G (2nd Gen.) US GSM Moto G (2nd Gen.) and Global GSM retail versions sold in the US.

Since these updates are rolling out in phases, it may take some time for Lollipop to make its way onto your Moto X or Moto G. Other manufacturers including HTC and LG have indicated they plan to release the latest version of Android in the coming weeks.
