- Install the app on your device where you will be asked to create a Pulse account or login through Facebook, which you should decide.
- After you have either created your account in Pulse or logged in using facebook account you will be taken to a page with categories of content which we will be interested in reading about. Like News, Technology, Sports, Art, Photography, Automobile, Fashion, science etc
- For selecting your desired categories you should click on the specific image which will turn the “+” symbol on the lower right of the image into a tick mark.

Google Currents gives you a Magazine like look to your smartphone or tab. It is very neat but i think Pulse News is better in ways or viewing and the categories selection compared to Google Currents

- After installation you will be directed to the Categories page where you need to select from the various categories available like News, science, technology, photography, Food, Music etc
