Nexus 6 pre order is on track and for all those who wanted to pre-order the same will be able to pre-order the same on October 29th. After the recent issue with Nexus Player wherein FCC had ordered LG to not to take pre-orders for the products which are yet to be certified from FCC. Sources at FCC confirm that Motorola’s Nexus 6 has been successfully passed and can now be sold by Google. FCC listing shows that the device which is of the dimension 159.4mm x 83mm while the official spec sheet of Nexus 6 reads the measurement as 159.26×82.98mm. While there is no mentioning of Nexus 6, talk in the town is that it is the Nexus 6 Android device.

Of late many device manufacturers are only going to FCC after announcing the device due to fears of device getting leaked out via FCC even before it gets announced. So, now the current trend is to first announce the device and then send the device to FCC for the approval. Knowing the fact and experience which Google and other device manufacturers, it’s very unlikely that devices will get a rejection from FCC unless manufacturers does something radical / extreme.
Its been also speculated that T-Mobile will be launching the Nexus 6 on November 12 while Sprint, AT&T, U.S. Cellular and Verizon tool will be selling Nexus 6 but hasn’t mentioned any date of launch. There are 2 devices which are being cited and are 4054 and 3600. 4054 variant may be specifically for North America while 3600 variant may be for international market.
