Update: OnePlus recently started sending out invites about an event that they are holding today. According to a report published recently, OnePlus will be releasing the OnePlus One Lite alongside the OnePlus Two.
OnePlus Two will be the flagship smartphone, OnePlus One Lite will be a phone with better specs than OnePlus One, but still a light version of the flagship smartphone. According to the report, initially the phone will be available via invites only, just like the predecessor but OnePlus might have some better plans for future.
Last week, Bloomberg has reported that OnePlus Two along with a cheaper version of the OnePlus handset is expected to be launched. The report from Bloomberg stateed that the company hopes to sell 3 to 5 million smartphones by the end of 2015, and 10 million in 2016.
The OnePlus 2 is expected to feature an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, a fingerprint scanner, and microSD card support. The OnePlus 2 could be more expensive than the OnePlus One, which costs $299 (unlocked).

OnePlus has started sending out invite to an event on April 20th, alongside a message stating “From here on out, anything could happen.”OnePlus didn’t say anything about the event. However, since the OnePlus One was announced one year ago, in April 2014, perhaps it’s time for the OnePlus 2 to be officially unveiled.

The OnePlus 2 will likely be more expensive than the OnePlus One. The new handset might be powered by a Snapdragon 810 processor while also possibly featuring expandable memory, fingerprint scanner, and a 5.5-inch display. OnePlus is working on, this should be a cheaper model, and for now there’s no word on what features it may offer.

New OS is based on Google’s latest Android Lollipop OS.OnePlus claims that their new OS is light in nature and won’t be system heavy. The OS also features several essential features, screen gestures, quick settings, and an improved file manager.
