OnePlus One Android Phone with 13MP Sony Exmor IMX214 Camera Leaked via Benchmark – Details

OnePlus One is the first OnePlus Smart phone that is based on CyanogenMod and is set for a release in the second quadrant of this year. This device is going to be a wonderful smartphone considering its expected retail price that will be less than $400. The company (OnePlus) has confirmed that the device will be featuring a 13 MP front facing camera with Sony Exmor IMX214.

This 5.5 inch device comes with an resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and is powered by a quad core 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 processor with a 3100 mAh battery to power the device. More over it has an always-on, always listening feature and will be coming with a 13 MP camera on the rear, with Exmor IMX214, this was picked for the device because the Smart phone aim is not to compete with DSLR’s but it is just to offer a portable gadget that will be performing well in real life conditions.


This 13 MP Sony camera has an f/2.p aperture that is good for taking snaps in low lights and has a unique 6 lens optics to avoid any low aperture distortion while enhancing the image quality and colors. It also features an IS+ (Image Stabilization plus) and the camera can shoot 4K videos at 720p at 120fps. The OnePlus One will also feature a 5 MP camera on the front for video calling and selfies.
