Oppo has teased their latest best phablet device, the Oppo N1 which is to come with the 5.9 inch capacitive touchscreen, and this is now confirmed and the rumors of the 5.5-inch screen that flew around earlier were all false. Apart from the screen size, what many got to know is a presence of a touch-panel on the back side which would enhance the user experience and bring out something new in the world of smartphones where only the LG G2 had got the physical keys on the back to make the navigation and usage easier.
The device is to be launched on September 23rd, as the company on its official Twitter account said “Expect Big Things on September 23. #OPPON1”, with the photo sharing the diagonal screen size of the N1.
Oppo has been a brand which took the bezel size seriously, and since the Oppo Find 5, they have kept the Bezel very thin and now with the huge screen size, the device does look like a large phablet as most of the front territory is covered by the display, except on the top and bottom which are the usual housing for the earpiece, mic etc.
Apart from this, the camera of the Oppo N1 is expected to be a real high-end one, but there’s nothing officially known about it. Other stuff that was rumored earlier, included the Qualcomm 8064pro processor, with 4 cores clocking at 1.9 GHz, a 13-megapixel camera which isn’t just a camera like the other smartphones.
All looks good, and we just have to wait and watch till Oppo comes up with something good in the end, and they haven’t taken IFA event as the right time for the announcement, but are holding a separate event for the same. September 23rd is the date, mark it, as Oppo isn’t going to announce just another smartphone but something real good this time, as the N1 looks quite promising.
