We have seen some camera samples of the Oppo N3 couple of days earlier and now the company has officially announced the device in the on-going event in Singapore. And this will be the latest handset from the company that has been added to the N series. The device comes with an auto-rotating 16 MP camera that acts as both rear and front cameras, giving high-quality selfies. The camera can be rotated 0.012 degree accurately to take selfies and also has dual LED flash with f/22 aperture.
The Oppo N3 comes with a 5.5 inch FHD display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The device is powered with 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor coupled with Adreno 330 GPU and 2 GB RAM. The device is a dual SIM variant and will run Android 4.4 KitKat Operating system out of the box. There is a 16 MP camera on the rear with LED flash that can be used as the front camera also. The device supports 4G LTE connectivity and has other connectivity options like Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, WiFi direct. The device will be powered with a 3000 mAh battery on the back with VOOC fast charging.
The on-board memory of the device is 32 GB, and it measures 61.2 x 77 x 9.9 mm and weighs 192 grams. We can find a notification light just below the screen of N3 like we have seen with the Find 7, and the software is also being updated and named as Notification light 2.0. The device will be available for $649 off contract and is expected to be available from December.

Ahead of the official announcement of Oppo N3, Oppo’s CEO shared a camera sample of the phone on his Weibo (Chinese social website) account. As the photo was posted Via Weibo, the image has been compressed and the images don’t tell too much about the camera’s performance. The Oppo N3 will officially launch in Beijing on the 29th October.
Few week back Oppo’s CEO shared few images and few other details in regards to the Smartphone’s camera specifications on his Weibo. According to which, the Oppo N3 has a 16MP camera with 1/2.3 inch sensor. Oppo’s official Facebook page also posted actual images of the Oppo N3 ahead of the launch.

In recent years, many tech companies are coming with smartphones packed with impressive specifications and features. Also, these handsets provide great performance at low price range. Lately, these phones are giving tough competitions to flagship phones from some top brands. One such company is Oppo. After successfully launching Oppo N1, N1 Mini and Find 7, the company has come up with one more smartphone named as Oppo N3.
The company’s upcoming smartphone is OPPO N3 with a rotating camera. The N3 is the predecessor to the N1 (company has decided to skip the N2 designation with no reason given). The new press shot of the smartphone has surfaced on Weibo, which shows the smartphone in Cyan and Pink colors in addition to White. As per the leaked reports Oppo will offer N3 in two variants. One comes with stainless steel chassis whereas the other model features an aluminium-lithium alloy exterior.
According to the rumours, Oppo N3 would sport an impressive 5.9-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels screen resolution. The device would be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, coupled with 3 GB of RAM and also comes with VOOC rapid charging (With VOOC Rapid charge phone can charge from 0 to 75% in JUST 30 minutes, as claimed by Oppo). The operating system of the device has not been confirmed by the company yet, and it is expected to run CyanogenMod.
The press shot of the smartphone also confirms 13 megapixels, 206 – degree rotating camera on the top. We have seen the rotating camera earlier in Oppo N1 which can be swivelled (turned back and forth). The camera would let you capture images up to 24-megapixels. You can use the same 13 MP main camera as selfie camera, guaranteeing high-quality and picture-perfect selfies.
Oppo is a smartphone maker from China, which is well known for its rotating cameras and its tie up with CynogenMod. With releasing its original Oppo N1 with CynogenMod, Oppo became the first tech company to offer CynogenMod right out of the box.
The company confirmed the launch of the smartphone on October 29th in Singapore via its official Twitter account. According to some reports, many other countries will follow after the device’s Singapore launch.
