Panasonic P81 is the flagship device from the company that has been launched after many teasers. This is the latest smartphone that has been included in the P series and has a 5.5 inch display with an Octa core processor. The company mentioned that they have reached another milestone with this new P series device and it has been developing products mainly for Indian consumers.
The Panasonic P81 has a 5.5 inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolutions and will run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean Operating System with the company’s own Play life UI on top. The device is powered by a MediaTek MT6592 True Octa-Core processor clocked at 1.7 GHz coupled with Mali450-MP4 GPU & 1 GB of RAM. There is a 2500 mAh battery on the back of the device to power it and the device is a dual SIM variant with dual standby feature.
The Panasonic P81 has a 13 MP rear facing camera with LED flash, capable of shooting 1080p videos and it is accompanied with a 2 MP camera on the front for video calls. The on-board memory of the device is at 8 GB that can be further extended up to 32 GB via microSD card. The connectivity of the device includes 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 3.0 A2DP, GPS and FM radio with RDS.
