Polaroid SC1630 Smart Android 16Mp Camera with 3G & Wi-FI Support

Android has reached most of the gadgets, first empowering tablets and smartphones, reached Smart TVs and HD TVs, point to sale devices and now it is spotted on digital cameras. The encroachment of Android now gets on to Polaroid digital camera which was unveiled during the ongoing CES 2012 event held at Las Vegas.

With just not Android on it, it’s a 3G ready Android smart camera. It is based of Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread operating system. It has 3.2 inches capacitive touchscreen LCD display with a maximum resolution of 800 x 400 pixels. It features a 16 mega pixel still resolution camera with 512 MB RAM and ROM along with the additional microSD memory card slot adding up to another 32 GB maximum.

Since this is a digital camera it need to be more like sophisticated built of specifications and the unit includes Sunny9P image processor with 1/2.33 CCD image sensor providing a maximum resolution of 4608 x 3440 pixels in JPEG format. It add 3x optical zoon and 5x digital zoom along with f 3.1 to 5.6 aperture range. It’s loaded with functions like anti shake system, self timer and built in Xenon flash and AF assist lamp. With 16 mega pixel camera you will be able to record 720p HD videos in Mp4 format.

This camera comes with the support of AT&T and T-Mobile services for data access but no carriers deals were provided at the moment. 3G support will come for internet access only and no voice capabilities have been added in this camera. Also you can make use of Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n internet access via this camera to install various apps, games and widgets from Android Market.
