The lesser known smartphone maker, Polaroid has launched two new unlocked smartphones adding to their collection of unlocked devices called as Polaroid Snap and Polaroid Power at CES 2016 event. The Snap is a budget smartphone and will come in three different screen sizes to suit the need of any customer. The Power is a mid-ranged phablet featuring impressive specifications at an affordable price point. The Polaroid Snap lineup is priced at $129.99-$179.99 and will be available via Evine Live in February. The Polaroid Power unlocked smartphone costs $249.99 and will be available from Spring 2016.

The Snap flaunts 5″/5.5″/6″ (1280×720 pixels) HD display and comes powered by unspecified quad-core processor paired with 1GB/2GB RAM, 8GB/16GB built-in storage and is further expandable using a microSD card slot. The device supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box with planned upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow in future. On the camera front, the device sports a 13MP rear camera with autofocus and dual LED flash to captures perfect snaps even in low-light conditions. On the front, it has a 5MP shooter accompanied with LED flash for crazy selfie lovers. It comes with standard connectivity options like 4G-LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB 2.0 port.
The Polaroid Power features phablet-sized 6-inch Full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display with 367ppi as pixel density. Under the hood, is the unspecified 64-bit Octa-core SoC paired with 3GB RAM, 32GB onboard storage and microSD card slot for further expansion. The dual sim supported device includes connectivity options like 4G-LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS and microUSB port. On the photographic section, it sports a same 13MP primary camera with dual LED flash and an 8MP front-facing snapper for video chats and stunning selfie clicks. The handset powers a 3000mAh battery and the company is also providing an additional 8000mAh power bank so that you will never run out of power. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box and upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow in future.
