Realme has entered the Chinese market with the launch of its new Realme X smartphone in the country. The device is made available in White and Punk Blue colour options and is priced at CNY 1499 (approx USD 220) for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant while the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage and 8GB RAM with 128GB of storage are priced at (approx USD 230) and CNY 1799 (approx USD 260) respectively. The handset will be available from May 20 via online stores in China.
The latest Realme X device has been launched alongside the Realme X Lite which is a rebranded Realme 3 Pro and Realme is also selling its device is few other Asian markets also recently. Well, talking about the Realme X smartphone it comes with 6.3-inch (2340 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection top with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It sports a full view display without any notch. The device has a curved glassy finish body giving it an elegant look.
Under the hood, the device will be powered with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform featuring Kryo 360 CPU and Adreno 616 GPU coupled with 4GB/6GB and 8GB RAM options along with 64GB and 128GB of storage which can be extended further with microSD card slot. There is a 3,765mAh battery on the device with the support for VOOC 3.0 flash charging technology with 20W support. There is also the 3rd generation in-display fingerprint sensor on the device along with face unlocking.
Talking about the cameras, the device will be sporting a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.7 aperture and a 5MP depth sensor on the rear that can record up to 4K videos and 960 fps super slow mo videos. There is also a 16MP pop-up selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. The connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C charging port also.
