Procedure to Root Galaxy S Advance I9070 on XXLD1 Firmware:
- Download & Unzip the Galaxy S Advance XXLD1 Rooting Package from here to your computer. Once unzipped, open the Odin in your computer and turn Off your phone so that it can be then entered in the download mode.
- Download mode in Galaxy S Advance I9070 smartphone can be entered by pressing Volume down Key, Center button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button after which a green robot will be shown indicating the Download Mode has been entered and Do not turn Off the target message.
- Connect your phone to the computer with the help of original USB cable. Once connected, you should see that the ID : COM section will turn Yellow.
Note: If the ID : COM section doesn’t turn Yellow, you need to check with two things which are mentioned below,
- Install the USB Drivers in your computer &
- Go to the Path “Settings > Wireless & Network > USB Settings” and ensure that “Samsung KIES” option is ticked before connecting the phone to the computer.
- After this, click on the below mentioned tabs and select the files from the extracted zip file.

- After selecting the files, you now need to click on “Start” for rooting the device. Once the process is completed, you now need to disconnect the device and turn Off the phone so that it can then be again entered in the download mode. Close the odin too.
- Now, in download mode connect again to the computer and open the Odin and select the files mentioned below,

- Once the above files are selected, click on “Start” to start the process of rooting process. Once done, the phone will be rebooted and once you see the home screen, disconnect the phone from computer. After this, download and install Superuser or SuperSU aplication from Google PLAYS tore and enjoy the rooted phone.
Note: At any point of time just in case if the process of rooting gets stopped due to any reason, all you need to do is restart the process from the start by re inserting the battery.
