Procedure to install S Off and Recovery:
- After following the above step, you will be getting the Beta key and now connect the phone to the computer using the USB cable which you got at the time of your phone’s purchase. Open the Revolutionary beta application which you have downloaded from the above link after which the S Off will be gained and also the phone will gain the root access along with the custom recovery image installation successfully in your phone.
- If you are Linux, then enter the following command line.
Linux: Open a command prompt, cd to where the Revolutionary was extracted, and execute it:
./revolutionary
- After this just follow the on screen instructions after which the revolutionary tool will be closed on its own which will signify that the device now has got S Off and Clock Work MOD recovery has been successfully garnered.
Let’s proceed to the next step to install Super user.
Procedure to install Super user:
- First up download the Superuser File to your computer and then copy the same to your device’s SD Card.
- After this, reboot he phone in the recovery mode which can be done by “Press the Volume Down Key and holding the Volume down button Power ON the device by pressing the Power button” and then select the option of “HBOOT”.
- After this select the option of “backup and restore” and then select “backup” to back up the current firmware. This is very helpful if just in case anything happens to your device as you can easily restore the firmware.
- Now, select the option of “install zip from sd card” and choose “choose zip from sd card” and then from the list of files select the “Superuser-3.0.6-efgh-signed.zip” and select the same by pressing the Power button.
- Now, once its completed, you will now need to select the option of “Go back” till you return to the main menu. After this reboot he device to reboot and enjoy the rooting access in your HTC Flyer device.
